Shop Cider Review: Is Cider Legit?
We love cheap clothes. We found a great store, Shop Cider. We also think that you can look great without spending a lot of money on new clothes.
We’ve tried Shein, Zaful, Romwe, Chicwish, and so on. This time, I chose to try the well-known “Shop Cider” brand from Tik Tok. After reading other reviews of shop cider, I knew it was likely I wouldn’t like what I got, but I chose to give it a try anyway. I thought I had nothing to lose since the prices were so low.
How does Shop Cider work?
Shop Cider is a fast-fashion brand that is popular with gen z and is similar to the names above. It’s known for having unique styles at very low prices, like this cute orange sweater. However, many people question the quality of the items.
If you use Instagram or other popular social media sites, you may have even seen their pieces in ads or seen your favourite Instagram stars share them. A few years ago, cider became popular on Tik Tok and has been going strong ever since. Read on to find out about my first order from the Cider Shop, what I thought of the things I got, how their customer service worked, and a lot more.

Review of Shop Cider
Let’s start by talking about the Cider clothes I ordered. First up is this skirt and crop top set with flowers.

The first thing I saw that caught my eye right away was this set. The colors are gorgeous, and the style is right on point.
This cute top can be worn with or without the skirt, which is one of the reasons I liked it so much. It looks great with the skirt, but it would also look good with white pants.
When I took these pieces out of the bag, I could tell right away that the fabric was thin and cheap. But the color and style were so cute that I was hopeful.
Not only were these pieces not good, but they were also very bad. Before I could even look in the mirror, one of the skirt’s drawstrings broke.

Sad, sad, sad. It could still be worn, but who wants something that’s brand new but already broken? Cider surprised me by offering to help me with this, which was something I had hoped for but didn’t think they would actually do. The skirt was a little too big. It works, but it would have fit better if I had bought a size smaller than I usually do. For reference, I’m wearing a size small in both pieces, which is what I usually wear.
Ruched Midi Dress with an Illusion
There are a lot of dresses just like this on Amazon, which is my favorite place to shop, but I wanted to see if Cider had anything special to offer.
This dress is pretty, but it ran CRAZY big. I love a good ruched dress, but this one just didn’t work for me.
A dress with ruching is great because it looks good on everyone.
Here, it was the other way around. Great reviews were written about this dress, but the size chart didn’t match what I got, so I didn’t buy it either.

Next up was this polyester set (sold as separates) that has a 4.4 out of 5-star average rating. It includes a cute top in a crinkly texture and a matching skirt.
Yet again, both of these pieces were very thin. While this is a great outfit for hot weather and certainly a fun night on the town, it lacks in the coverage department.As you can tell from the photo above the skirt is a bit sheer and the top will definitely require pasties as that too is super sheer.

It’s not slightly sheer, it’s very sheer. The style is absolutely adorable and I love that it’s sexy but the skirt is a midi length, which gives just a bit more coverage.
As far as the fit, I felt that the skirt ran a bit large while the top was true to size. The good thing is that these come as separates so you can size down in the skirt without having to do so in the top but of course, you’ll have to wear something for coverage underneath.
Monochrome Set
I love how this set looks in every way. It’s a different style than anything I have or have ever seen, and the light blue color is beautiful. This one is actually of good quality, much better than the other three things I got, and I would buy it again. Both of these things are made of polyester, but they feel almost like paper mache. It’s different, but that’s a good thing! The cut of the crop top is very comfy, and you can wear a strapless bra (or no bra at all) underneath. It fits true to size, but I don’t think it would be great for someone with a bigger bust. Both pieces come in sizes up to xl.
This pair of pants is on the thicker side, so they are not see-through or thin.
On the back pocket, there’s a chain that looks really cute. I bought these in my usual size, but they were a little big.
Overall, it wasn’t very good.
I had one outfit that was really good, but the rest were not very good.
But in this case, “you get what you pay for” is true.
At these low prices, I wouldn’t expect really high-quality clothes.
Shipping Speed: Since Cider clothes are sent from abroad, it can take a while before you get them.
Don’t be surprised if it takes a few weeks for you to get your things after you’ve placed your order.
Helping out customers
I had a pretty good time with the customer service staff, to be honest.
I contacted them about a problem or question, and they got back to me almost right away.
Size: One of my biggest problems with the things I got was that they didn’t fit right. Just about everything was way too big.
Sizes are not the same from one item to the next, so it’s important to follow the size chart for each item closely.

Q1: HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SHIP SHOP CIDER?
Ans: I put in my order on June 9 and got my package on June 24. This means that it took just over 2 weeks for me.Not the fastest and definitely not the slowest.
CAN YOU DRINK CIDER?
Cider is a real drink.
You can be sure that your order will be sent to you.
IS SHEIN LIKE SHOP CIDER?
Yes. Even though you can find some trendy things that are of great quality, you shouldn’t expect that when you shop on either of these sites.
In terms of styles, they both have pieces that are popular right now, but Cider has a better and more refined range.
I wouldn’t shop at either online store for an outfit for a special event, but it’s worth a shot for basics like white t-shirts and things that are in style.
Also, if you want to know which company is run better, Cider pays its workers 4-5 times the minimum wage, while Shein doesn’t seem to make this information public, which makes customers suspicious of how they do business.
Because it is sold by pre-order, cider is able to keep its prices incredibly low.
Customers wonder if Shein is honest or not because they don’t know how the company can keep its prices so low.
IS CIDER THE LATEST TREND?
Yes, Cider is still a business that changes quickly.
But because the brand makes things based on what customers want, there is a lot less trash.
IS SHOP CIDER ON THE SMALL SIDE?
I found it interesting that the sizes of Cider seemed to run big, since most fast fashion sites tend to run small.
WHO IS THE OWNER OF SHOP CIDER?
Wang Chen started the Cider company in Hong Kong.
SHOP CIDER COMES BACK
Cider has good customer service, but I don’t like that I only have a short time to return an item.
You only have 14 days from the day your things were delivered to send them back.
Some people might think this is long enough, but I just don’t have enough time.
I actually missed the chance to return my whole order because I didn’t get to it in time. Ugh.
Cider will give you a free return label for the first item you want to send back from any sale, but you will have to pay for anything else you want to send back after that.
I mean, I totally get what you’re saying.
For me, a good overall experience isn’t just about the clothes, but also about how easy it is to ship and return them, so this is a big negative.
Another thing to remember is that if you use store credit from a return to pay for a new order, you can’t return the new order for free.

Cider Clothing is based in the Chinese city of Guangzhou.
This is why it usually takes weeks to ship something to the United States.

Overall, I didn’t have a great time.
I would recommend shopping on the site, but before you place an order, you should definitely read the product reviews, especially the ones about sizes.
I didn’t spend much time on that, and I could have avoided having to return or exchange things.
